Privacy Policy

Numerix d.o.o. is an accounting and tax advisory firm. We are the controller of your personal data within the meaning of the Zakon o zaštiti podataka o ličnosti (Law on Personal Data Protection, “Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 87/2018; hereinafter: the Law). This policy provides you with the information required under Article 23 of the Law.

• Subscription uses double confirmation (double opt-in): after you subscribe, we send you an e-mail with a confirmation link. Without confirmation, we do not send the newsletter.
• The consent box is not pre-ticked – you tick it yourself.
• We send professional news once a month and occasionally information about our services, in accordance with Article 8 of the Zakon o elektronskoj trgovini (Law on Electronic Commerce) (commercial messages only with prior consent).
• We keep contacts in three lists: clients, business partners and prospective clients, so that we can send relevant content.
• We reserve the right to refuse or delete subscriptions that are obviously false, automated or abusive (e.g. someone else’s e-mail address, spam).
• You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every e-mail or by writing to office@numerix.rs.

We do not sell data. It is available only to processors working for us that are bound by a data processing agreement (DPA) to process the data solely on our instructions and with appropriate safeguards:

• Intuit Mailchimp (USA) – sending the newsletter;
• Webflow (USA) – hosting of the website and forms;
• Google (USA) – Google Analytics and Google Ads tags, only with your consent;
• accounting software provider established in the Republic of Serbia – processing of client data (no transfer abroad);
• public authorities, where required by law.

Some of the service providers we use (Google, Mailchimp, Webflow) may process data outside the Republic of Serbia, subject to the safeguards provided for in their data processing agreements.

• Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn (unsubscription).
• Unconfirmed subscriptions: deleted after 30 days.
• Contact form enquiries: up to 12 months from the last communication, unless you become a client.
• Client data: in accordance with the contract and statutory retention periods (e.g. accounting and tax regulations).
• Cookies: according to the lifetime of each individual cookie, as stated in the cookie settings.

You have the right to:

• access to your data (Article 26);
• rectification and completion (Article 29);
• erasure (Article 30);
• restriction of processing (Article 31);
• data portability (Article 36);
• object to processing, including direct marketing (Article 37);
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (Article 15, paragraph 3).

Send your request to office@numerix.rs. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm your identity. We respond without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days of receiving the request; this period may be extended by a further 60 days owing to the complexity or number of requests, in which case we will inform you (Article 21).

If you believe that the processing does not comply with the Law, you may lodge a complaint with the Poverenik za informacije od javnog značaja i zaštitu podataka o ličnosti (Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection) (Article 82), www.poverenik.rs.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (Article 50): restricted access, passwords and two-factor authentication, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and data processing agreements with processors.

The processing of data in the course of accounting services is governed in detail by the contract with the client. When we process data of a client’s employees, we act on the client’s instructions and in accordance with the Law.

The website may use strictly necessary cookies, required for the website to function, and – only with your consent – analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads tags). These cookies are set only after you consent via the cookie banner on the website. You may refuse or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie banner/settings or in your browser. Refusing non-essential cookies does not affect the basic use of the website.

• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you provide to us.
• If you provide us with data of another person (e.g. a colleague or employee), you confirm that you have a legal basis for doing so and that you have informed that person.

The content of the newsletter, blog, guides and website is of a general and informational nature and does not constitute tax, accounting or legal advice for any specific case. Please seek individual advice for your situation. To the extent permitted by law, Numerix d.o.o. is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of such content.

The website and newsletter may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or their processing of data; please review their privacy policies.

We may amend this policy. Changes take effect upon publication on numerix.rs, and the effective date is stated at the top of the document. We recommend that you review it from time to time.

This policy is governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia.
