Although in previous years we have been going through the standard and already usual last-minute amendments to legal regulations (to which we are less more accustomed), this year we are witnessing for the first time, tectonic changes that radically change the daily life of professional accountants.
The profession has become regulated, and the Accounting Act only allows firms registered in the Register of Accounting Service Providers that employ certified accountants and auditors to work. There was a lot of debate on this topic, a lot of arguments on both sides, but the legislator in the end remained firm on his point of view, and it seems, definitely.
On the other hand, the introduction of the e-invoice system from the root changes the entire business and systemically affects the economic environment. The benefits for accountants are multiple, and above all they are reflected in the absolute digitalization of business, the possibility of working in “remote” and “hybrid” mode which until now (at least in our profession) was difficult to implement in practice. Our company today promotes flexibility in work and the preferred way of working of our employees is remote work — working from home.
New legal changes are welcomed by our company, and as a result of the development process and digitalization of business in the last ten years, it has an already developed and stable system of electronic exchange and storage of documentation that is service-oriented, simple and easy to use both for users within our company and for our clients.
